As far as I know, this kidnapper guy (name is Hunter Sebastian, but we don't find that out officially until later) is the second villain in Dragon City that didn't originally appear in Jix first (those being The Collector and the Planet Thief). The other original Dragon City villain was that mayor that replaced Rachel. (I can't remember his name off the top of my head.)
