There's more to the story than just the wedding, this is just the setup. I know it seems like this is all there it to it, but hang on.

Oh, and you might want to check out today's Jix. The Cretaceous arc ties up one aspect of dragon history from page 4 of Dragon City and this Jix comic ties up another. Keep in mind that the mayor's story is just that: a story, but it has a bit of truth to it.
