You know…I should show a female dragon with pin feathers.

It is unknown as to whether or not Jonas will have pin feathers yet. Since his grandpa and uncle have 'em, he might, but Sam doesn't so he might not…but Sam's father does, so…I don't know.

Rachel didn't mention this, but pin feathers are more common on older dragons, though the younger ones do use them for attraction. Sam's father was in his 50s or 60s last we saw him, Bruce is in his 60s and Rachel's dad is in his 100s, though they might have had them when they were younger. I don't really know. I've mostly just drawn them on random characters.

But an example of a younger dragon with pin feathers is Doc Croc. He, like Sam, is in his 30s.
