I think the whole reason I went with the crossover is because I wanted to see these two as dragons. And for some reason when I do crossovers (except for the Convention/Panelist arcs) Lauren and Jix tend not to be in both comics on the same day. For instance, the story arc going on in Jix is about Caligos and Paul…so Lauren and Jix aren't there, either.
I don't remember what arc was going on during the one where Erin got kidnapped, but I seem to remember Jix and Lauren not being in the Jix comics that were put up on those same days.
