Erin really is the evil twin or whatever it's called for multiple universes. 
Even though Erin and Rachel never mentioned it, I think part of the problem they have stems back from the fact that the whole reason Rachel laid Erin's egg was because Sam asked her to whereas Jonas was one she wanted to have. (In blue Erin's universe, it was to make up for Erin. In brown Erin's, it was to give Erin a sibling.) 
Over the weekend, I added a bunch of links to fan comics someone made of Dragon City on Deviantart. Feel free to check it out. It's in the fanart section.
