As I said Friday, I usually will do things that changes up the comic if it fits a joke or a story. This fit both. Jix's scars fit that story. Erin's blue color came from a joke in one comic and stuck for like seven years.Why the change? Because I could. I saw an open opportunity with a time travel arc and took it. I did the same thing with Biff in Chrono Redux, but I ended up changing him a few other times. Erin won't be the same way. She'll probably be green for longer.If you read Jix, you know I like characters to change…not just personality, but appearance. I never did do much with my dragons until now, but Lauren and Paul went through several hairstyles, Jix grew out her fur and gained scars, Caligos's nose got fixed, and Dyonus and Dyona got upgraded bodies. I'm particularly fond of change…and not just coins.Also, she's not an invert of Rachel exactly. I did base her colors off of Rachel's, but then I began mixing other colors in until I got these. I figured these colors wouldn't be as jarring as some others…especially if I made her red.
