Something interesting to think about with time travel…if Erin eats the food her future self cooked and then returns home, she's carrying an animal in her stomach to a time when the animal is still alive. In her time, the animal hasn't yet died.
Similarly, when she and Beatrix went back in time, she was gravid with her traveling companion. (And there's a good chance she's gravid with Sophie right now while she's talking to future Erin and Sophie.)
