Okay, just in case you were wondering, the comic has been leading up to this point. It has been Brian telling his story to the court.

Speaking of the court, it was designed after the one in Phoenix Wright. It is an homage to the game. Though…just in design. You need not know anything about the game. Truth be told, Phoenix (the one in blue) is supposed to be a defense attorney on murder trials, not on civil disputes. And Edgeworth (the antagonist of the first game) is the prosecutor of those cases. Again…nothing to do with civil. Not really important here, I'm just letting you know.
