Is it… the third Monday after New Year's? Oh no! It's the dreaded January Blues Day, which has actually been calculated to be the MOST DEPRESSING DAY OF THE YEAR.

How?
1. Time since the holidays
2. Arrival of bills from the holidays
3. Time since last paycheck (Jan. 12 was the last one for many)
4. Closeness of Valentine's Day
5. Lack of things to look forward to
6. Coldest and gloomiest weather of the year

Fortunately, there are things that can be done to get through this dark time of the year. Such as reading up on some webcomics!
