Okay, some folk have commented on the huge number of characters I expect readers to keep track of in this comic. And I admit, every story I ever write begins with the title "Revenge on Robert Jordan." If you know what I'm talking about there, thumbs up me in the comments.

But anyway, we've seen both of these guys before, but you could be forgiven for not having them in your head. The guy with the hat is Braxton. He's a mercenary out of the western nation of Jhar who serves in the Mumagrep army. He played a prominent role as a part of an expedition into the Crevinn highlands in Chapters 4-9. He and Jerrik have a contentious relationship because Braxton blames Jerrik for the death of his brother. The other fellow is Gavin, another Mumagrep soldier who has previously only appeared in a brief, two-panel cameo in Chapter 10 (click the link to see him).
