Well, this is the first week of my bi-weekly (wait, would that mean every two weeks or twice a week?) schedule and I've already missed a deadline. I'm going to pretend that my trip to a nearby theme park distracted me from working on my comic. Truthfully, the trip was on Monday and my deadline was Sunday, but who's counting?

Anywho, here's a shorty that was inspired by a true story. I have a feeling most of my fillers will be taken from real life moments… What can I say, I live in a sitcom.

I also started playing with my graphics software. I found out that it can replicate some of the effects that my screen tones create. This can save me money. It's a lot cheaper than using those tone sheets. So, the backgrounds, shading, and water effects were all done on my Mac.

Lastly, I tried to give Sash and Jack their own unique eyes. You may or may not have noticed that the eyes have been changing with every page. But at the same time, everyone on each page shares the same eyes. I can't settle on the right shapes. I like Jack's eyes in this first frame. I'm hoping I can reproduce them for now on. However, I'm still working on Sash and April.
