In the top frame, the words or emanations from the white woman begin to ripple or reflect back. Below that, the wind takes the letter from the black dog and blows, brings it closer to the window.
I'll try to keep the explanations to a minimum, as I realize if I were to go more in depth, the explanations (or explorations) would be far longer than the comic itself. There are strange visual rhymes (and rhythms) that seem to permeate the story. The white woman's words, for example, that appear as water dropping in a pond in a previous page also appear very similar, in the last three pages, to the spirals of the wind, a rather appropriate symbol for voice, as words are carried on the wind. I begin to wonder about what similarities there may be between the depiction of the wind and the appearance of particle maps from super colliders, and I also begin to wonder about spoken words - are they particles of speech, or are they waves?
