Well, not really. Branson will just wake up in Hell, where he belongs. If it's possible to kill him, it has to be done there, on his home turf - pretty much as it is with humans.

But that doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt, or that there isn't a huge loss. Demons spend tremendous effort and all their resources into getting a foothold in the upper realms. Why? Well, it's certainly not Evil for Evil's sake. There are very few idealists in hell.

If and when it matters to the story arc, I'll explain. But for now, consider Branson to have gone from multi-millionaire to homeless and bankrupt - and owing money to the Mob.

We are getting close to the end of this chapter, or volume, or whatever it is. I may or may not go back and fix pages in what I'm thinking of as Volume Zero.

In the next Chapter, I'll probably shift conventions slightly. One font for all dialogue, for one.

I haven't changed update schedules on purpose - I just lost count of my fingers. I hate numbers.
