Page description: In Mid-Air, a furious Nick, who is unleashing a bit of his untapped power the jacket can give him (The jacket given to him by Dr. Cranium ) grabs Denny, and as he begins to shock him, the blast of power, energy, electricity, surges through him and the top of Denny's scalp begins to separate and Nick throws Denny, minus his hair and scalp, into the side of the factory wall like a bug. (or depending your memory of an old MTV Jon Stewart Show video, a cat against a wall.)
Commentary: THIS is finally the 200th page. I think. For me, it's a small milestone, as it took like 3 years to get here, and it's almost been 2 years coming up since I started this damned storyline. This has always been a huge thing for setting up the end (among other things) and it was this that made me realize that crafting a "Lord of the Sweaters" storyline originally for my little gag-like strip wouldn't be so hard. Just drawing it and writing it. :)
But all kidding aside, the end is slowly drawing near. With The Masked 1 revealed to be Drew Holkins, he was defeated by Nick. Nate defeated Wesley and now all that is left is Denny. Or Was. Nick defeated Denny. Now, while I am more of one of those "show" than tell kind of guys at times, specially with this story, and maybe my lack of art doesn't say it, but I'd hope you'd guess it, but anytime Nick is spurred into evil-sweater-toting-Nick mode is when an emotion is stirred. Originally it was Penny being hurt, and of course, now his best friend, Nathan, is seemingly dead, or… really badly F'd up. Also, you could also say that he thinks that Denny was the one who pushed him. I'll be honest. He DIDN'T push Nathan. Someone else did… and that is going to lead us… perhaps to the next page… see you then.
