Page description: Ashley presses the button on the transporter device that Wil Wheaton gave her (retreived by Charlie here) and as the fires blaze behind them, the portal opens, and Ashley reminds Nick to remind her about thanking Wil. As they smile at each other on the thought of going 'home' and everything 'returning to normal', the smile fades as they look into the bright light and they hold hands.
Commentary: And here it is. My artists journey/end of Lord of the Sweaters. To say I didn't enjoy it, would be a lie. To say that I didn't hate it equally, would be a lie too. But in time, I've stepped aside from any artistic crutches I had (created new ones) and became a bit of a better artist and writer, and told my first major comic-style storyline/arc. My hatred is seemingly only cos I am not a good artist and it took me too long to tell the story. Being I few Dribble For Kids in comic book form, like a TV show, and we are in the 2nd episode of season 3 (consisting of around 9-10 'episodes'/issues a season?) it only is infuriating that it's gonna take FOREVER to tell the story I want to tell. But I have weathered the storm, and I've grew up along the way. I've met wonderful people such as Kevin from Detective Fork, JMM from PinkyTA, Glass from SBB, JT and the gang from the gigcast… truly something like this I can not have hatred for. So… while I pass off cover duties and art duties to MJM from PinkyTA and… well I need to get how he wants his name stated, but, Matt, Lord of the Sweaters slowly begins it's last part of the journey. Entitled "The Journey Home", the characters return home and we learn the fate of Nathan.
For those of you with me this long, I thank god for you all, and for another 3 more years (and even more)….
