Page description:

Charlie barks, as Nick tells him "Of course he twitched!" and questions his use of five darts. With the understanding that Nathan could be in a coma for a month, Jimmy has a plan, and can get a favor owed to him. Apparently his cardboard box home which someone stole, previously was used by his 'friend' as a toilet, and thus, owes him one.

Writer/Creator Commentary:

The joke that other bums use Jimmy's box as a toilet amused me, among other things. This is the last of the original pages before the re-write added a new set of pages to be added in to make sure things tied together a bit nicer, for the overall issue and for some dangling plot-threads. Originally, this goes right into a page you'll see here eventually, but to not spoil it just yet, the ending to this issue was rushed and upon completing it early, I showed Nathan Trimmer who did laugh but asking him if he thought something was missing, he agreed. While he said not to add or change anything, I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to story at times, and when I'm always in a rush to keep it short and sweet under 22-23 pages, sometimes story suffers. Keeping it 23 pages is okay, or shorter, and adding things later to make it serviceable sounds much better than just straight up writing a 30 page script and having to cut out shit.

Until later…

Enjoy.
