Critics’ Acclaim
 
I found Sarah to be a very down-to-earth, relatable, and mulch-dimensional person. I can empathize with some of the awkward situations she gets into.  I think she is what one can really connect to in terms of the protagonist of a slice-of-life drama.
 
She's a very good girl, and helps whenever she can, even if she isn’t invited to.
 
 She does things that the everyman (or everywoman) would.  I think this aspect is almost necessary to the purpose of "Simply Sarah" to create an LGBT story that can be widely related by many different people and not use sexual orientation as a gimmick or a quirk.
 
It was actually a four way tie for the top nominee between Sarah, Carmen of Death P*rn, Sir Muir from Harkovast, and Protagonist from Persona 4TW.
