If written as a book, it could almost be done in the first person. Very tightly written and well paced. No detail or sub- plot is frivolous. 
 
I would have to put my vote to the godstrain as it always feels like it is going somewhere.
 
KimLuster has a masterful way of breaking the drama down into skilfully wrought cinematic sequences. The way that pages are organized and sequenced adds a lot to the story.
