Kimber Lee's story – her battle with cancer, surviving childhood abuse, overcoming her emotional frailties and lack of self worth – is powerful stuff, and her internal struggles directly shape the external challenges she finds herself up against. It's as much a story of self discovery as it is a story about superpowers and malevolent entities from the Great Beyond.

The Godstrain doesn't just entertain you; it expands your mind. It introduces you to ideas you've probably never heard of or thought about. It's not often a comic really makes you think, or even changes the way you think. For those reasons, I'm recommending The Godstrain for the Drunk Duck Award.
