El Cid uses some sort of poser software and good lord does he know how to use it!! I honestly don't see how he makes such incredible special effects, complicated machinery, intricately tattooed bodies, twisted and mutated bodies, etc, in the time-frame he puts them out.

I can't say anybody actually uses their medium of choice better than El Cid. There's a reason he wins so many awards year after year! He's just damn good!
