David is not technically new to The Duck. He has been here since 2017, but his comic, Origin, was launched less than two years ago. So, since he was the only user that received more than one vote for Best Newcomer, the awards committee decided to go ahead and present this award. I guess I could have just put Origin of the winner of this award but I digress… Congratulations!
