I've never had the power turned off on me.

Well, I have, but not because I was too broke to pay the bill. We just have a shitty circuit at the dorm and if my neighbor happens to be using her blowdrier at the same time I'm microwaving some Ramen.. POOF! Someone's gotta run to the fuse box to flick the circuit breaker.

Pain in the ass.
