Wow. I can't believe this is my last day of class.

I started out scorching rice and I walk out assembling large mirrors of yummy edibles that are displayed in high-end buffets. You know the kind where everything looks so beautiful you don't want to touch the food?

I assembled two mirrors this morning, both fruit yummies for the buffet and then helped my group break down our terrines (these are home-made jell-o blocks with fruit and stuff inside them) for yet another mirror that we displayed. A class mate sculpted a cornucopia (that's the horn-a-plenty) out of dough and we filled it up with berries and other edibles. It was our centerpiece.

I never thought I would be capable of accomplishing such astounding beauty with my own two hands, let alone it be edible and tasty. I gave it a go, and in the end, I made it.

Gammy would be soooo proud.

I still like B&P better, though… but I have more fun in the savory foods.
