There's a funny story about this page. You see, I was all done with the art, happy about it, ready for finishing touches and everything…and then it dawned on me…why is this page taking place during daylight hours when the rest of the book is taking place in an evening? OOPS. So, once I got the edited version back from TitanOne, I had to figure out how to artistically change day to night in a way that was not pure cheesy or painfully noticeable.

I hope you like my little solution. :)

About the story within this page: We learn more about Carolyn's relationship with her brother, Deon. Brothers and sisters will come up with cute little nicknames or name abbreviations that seem to stick. So, for Deon, Carolyn is just "Lyn" and for Carolyn, Deon is just "D." I'm looking forward to reading the comments on this page!
