January 8, 2009 Update:
Happy New Year! Just to let everyone know, I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. I had hernia repair surgery on New Year's Eve and have been recuperating for the last week. I'd already penciled the next page before I was officially diagnosed last Monday.

The surgery went great and I'm doing pretty well in my recovery so far. I just haven't been able to do too much. I plan on returning to work next week and hopefully by then I can get this page inked and sent to JustNoPoint for colors. I'll keep you all updated. - Allen
