~nervous laugh~ I suppose you're all expecting an explanation, eh?

I could say that I've injured my drawing and writing hand…but I've already used that as an excuse…so I'll go with the truth. The chapter plot started out fantastic, but in the middle I realized that I didn't like where it was going. This was three days into the writing process, so I started over. Alright, where was I going to start? That masquerade ball major plot that I'd been thinking of doing months ago? I decided no on that one, because since Charby the Vampirate is already doing a similar idea (~cough~ still) that it might be seen as…overdone. So I got out my horror movies, because that's how I usually start a plot. From 'Interview with the Vampire' homosexual undertones to 'The Village' with it's obvious ending, I thought hard. And finally decided on something, thanks to the scifi.com forums. Yeah, I hate most of the stuff on scifi nowadays…but the people on the forums are pretty fun. Seriously, if you're trying to remember the name of an obscure 60's sci-fi film with a virtually low cult following…they're the guys to go to. But I digress, because I'm rambling.

This explanation is getting pretty long. Okay, where was I? I started writing. And then college planning got in the way. We went to school, I got all of the counselling and scheduling bull over with (going to be a drama major, by the way.) And you know what? Counselor told me that tuition for first semester was probably going to be around 1200, with all fees. Because I live out-of-district. Anyway, I check online when the price is set on my account-AND I FIND THAT IT SAYS 2600 DOLLARS! How could I owe that much for tuition?! Especially at a f***ing junior college in downtown San Antonio. Well, it was a computer error…and after a few days cooling off from that, I finally started to script. And here it is…the cover to the next chapter of DTL.

FYI, I did tell you guys updates would become less frequent with the start of school. It's going to start up in a few weeks, so we'll see how the schedule changes.
