Officially my first page of the new year. Yay.

San Japan in San Antonio Texas will be the lucky convention for my first published comic book. Now by mine, I mean mine and a few friends' joint effort. I'll be the writer. We've agreed that while my art does have it's own…charms…nobody will pay over 5 bucks to have a copy of one of my comics. So anyway, we're getting a table at artist's alley and going to have our first book together published. It's called Chirashi Zushi, and it's about a quantum spaceship powered by disco music. Okay, it's more about the characters in the ship…but the ship DOES play a major role in the comic. Yes, the disco part WAS my idea. Anyway, it's a self-published comic that's going to number about 50 pages for the first novel, and we'll have another comic in the second half. This is strictly just to get ourselves out there and hopefully pull more readers in for our own webcomics, because frankly…we won't be profiting very much from this venture.

If you'd like to reserve your own copy of Chirashi Zushi, books will go on sale August 14th. Contact me through e-mail and I'll be sure to have one ready for you. It'll cost 6 dollars, and all proceeds will go to paying for the book itself…and helping to fund our next book. If it breaks even, there will be another novel next year.

At any rate, we're along way away from that. We haven't even really started work on the comic yet. Pretty much just brainstorming for now. Just thought I'd let my readers know (and hint that I'll be at San Japan this year too.)
