I just couldn't get the final panel to look right…

And now onto my regular random rambling:
It is not as easy as it seems to operate a film review blog. It is not as easy as it seems to operate a BOLLYWOOD film review blog. With the recent success of Slumdog Millionaire, I've found that more people are looking up references to Anil Kapoor, but frankly…though I do think he is a charming and decent actor…I really don't like most of his movies. They're pretty much sappy, seen-it-before plots. I know most of you won't know what I'm talking about, as Bollywood isn't really mainstream to American audiences (and Aussie, and Canadian) but I would definitely reccomend getting into them. They're fantastic. I just love Indian movies…and I think the first movie I would advise you to see, if you're looking for sparkly awesome musical explosion…is Om Shanti Om. Not only is it a great movie, but it has my favorite actor…Shahrukh Khan. If you're not a big fan of musicals, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel (frankly, most Indian movies are musicals) but I would suggest Cheeni Kum…starring one of my other favorite actors, Amitabh Bachchan. And as for a classic black-and-white sort of movie with beautiful visuals, I'd suggest either Pyaasa or Chaudhvin Ka Chand.

Now I know full well that most likely…none of you will watch, nay even look these films up…but with the growing masses of people registered to Netflix, I thought I might as well send out a little note to those who might have difficulty finding something new to watch…and I just felt like rambling about good Indian movies.
