01 - Belhart City Slums

This was a concept for my sprite comic Metempsychosis, which is… unfortunately put to halt due to… oh, I don't know, damn it.

But case aside, there were two major cities involved in the story. Belhart City is a chaotic, underworld slum with rampant criminal actvities and led by several rival warlords. Alderia, on the other hand, is a lively city with modern buildings (Much like the city in Mirror's Edge), but completely devoid of personal freedom in turn for peace and order.

The two cities were meant to serve as a contrasting world with same circumstances of unpleasant living.
