#956 Spawn: The More Things Change...

I was experimenting a bit with cel-shading today, mainly to see if it would save me enough time on the coloring side of things to justify using it on a regular basis. Personally, I like cel shading, and I feel it accents my art style better, but to get it to a level I'm happy with it takes a good deal more time than my usual soft shading style, so while I keep cel shading for a few strips, I'm afraid to say that it doesn't stick around.

Still, with school and all I'm looking for ways to cut corners without damaging the quality of the strip, which anyone can tell you is easier said than done.

Tch, I really need to get around to making more vote incentives. Well, more specifically I need to get around to scanning and posting the random sketches I've been accumulating for the past several months…

Oh, and check out the "Drunk Duck Favorites" link above the comic. Essentially this allows you to make a custom list of all your favorite comics on DD, accessible right from the main page (including marks to let you know if a strip has updated.) Anyway, this is basically an improved version of the "Personal Portal" system on classic DD, which I enjoyed muchly, so I'm all in favor of this.
