I was a bit busy yesterday (working on a page with unusually complex shading), so I didn't have time to work on any new designs for the Store. Apparently people want to see products with Orzo, the Deathsnake, or some more options as far as Azuu-styled shirts go. If there's a particular shirt-phrase you'd like to see available, be sure to let me know.

I've been working on backgrounds lately; or at least, trying to find a way to draw enough background to convey a sense of location without distracting from the characters or take too much of my time. It's a tough process, and now I remember why I don't have anything hanging on the walls in Elijah and Azuu's house. Still, as you can see, I still tend to take the easy way out whenever possible (sorry).

One trick I've been working on is trying to use the background to convey a sense of atmosphere instead of trying to capture realistically what a particular place might look like. You can see that more tomorrow, I think

Speaking of tomorrow, I've basically settled into the habit of posting a single panel from the next day's update as the vote incentive. It gives me something to post without too much extra effort, and I find a lot of these pretty funny out of context. So keep the votes coming; you won't get anything for your effort, but it inflates my sense of self-worth, and that's gotta count for something, right?
