I remember back in High School being told about all the different (and often bizarre) scholarship programs available. Usually the more unique ones weren't for much money, but at least they had more attainable goals than the big time ones available.

The problem, though, is that there's a limited number of winners for any of these scholarships.

I don't know if it's just me, but I have trouble finding scholarships for art schools in the first place, and most of them at one point ask me what I want to do with my art training. I get the impression that telling people I want to draw comic books doesn't quite endear them to giving me a few thousand dollars. Grants are basically the same story.

So, I figured I'd have to get some loans (had to get a few last year as well), only to find that my family's credit history is simply terrible.

I bring this up because it's getting near the start of the school year, and I don't have the money for college yet, and I'm really starting to worry. If things keep up like they have, I might not be able to go back to school, and I have no idea what I'll end up doing for the year.
