One thing that bothers me on this site (Drunk Duck, for those of you who don't read other comics on here) is people who respond to criticism by demanding to see some of their detractor's art, claiming that anyone who is not more skilled than them doesn't have the right to criticize their work.

I don't think that one needs a degree in art to look at a picture and say, "Hey, don't elbows bend the other way?" In fact, I sometimes find that the honest opinion of someone without art training can be more valuable, because they will occasionally state things more bluntly and honestly. I think any feedback is good, and that one shouldn't have to make excuses for their art.
