Normally I like to have the chapter titles have either a little more or a lot less to do with the story arc than this one ("Crash," by the way, in case you don't look at that sort of thing). I was originally going to call this something like "New Girl", but I wanted Hrathna's arrival to be very misleading (so much so that some people thought she was going to be some kind of creepy pedophile, apparently), and that just gave too much away. While coloring the first strip, I noticed Azuu's shirt said "Crash," figured that would be good enough, and have just been slightly disappointed with the name ever since…

Anyway, I'm trying to get Starving Artists back on its feet lately (the user forums on the site got wiped, and I've been doing a piss-poor job of reorganizing things).

Also, I've just been informed that Film Crew (helmed by former MST3K stars Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo), Bill Corbett (Crow) and Michael J. Nelson (Mike Nelson)) is taking votes on which movie to release on DVD first. The basic premise is, like MST3K, to have the trio sit and watch a bad movie, then make humorous commentary about it (though now without the pretext of being two robots and a factory worker in space). They have sample clips of their commentary from all the movies available, and based on those I'm voting for "Hollywood After Dark" (though the "Wild Women of Wongo" comes a close second). If you miss MST3K as much as I do, then you'll be saving $20 or two for the fateful day these DVDs are released.
