I always have to remind myself that Elijah and Azuu have pets. They don't really do much, since the Deathsnake is kept in a cage at all times and Orzo is, well, Orzo, so it's hard to fit them into storylines. Orzo works pretty well as a background element, for the most part, just sitting there making a scene seem more believable, but I find it really hard for the Deathsnake to really do much of anything.
