#1224 Spreading: Opposing Views

Personally, I don't really have anything against marriage, per se. So to help Fraja's argument I had to do some research into some complaints people do make about marriage.

Anyway, I'm glad for the feedback on my little "fanservice" arc here (Fraja will have her clothes back on by tomorrow, sorry). The most common complaint being that, with her breast size, Fraja shouldn't have such a thin stomach.

Personally, I like the sleek stomach look, but I can see how it's a bit far with Fraja. On the other hand it has been my intent to have at least Fraja and her Mom have exaggerated "ideal" proportions. I try to stay a bit more realistic with the other females (excepting, of course, the ridiculously overchested Hrathna).

I think that's a problem a lot of artists seem to face. I've talked to some "industry" artists (at conventions at the like), and they occasionally lament that they're required to draw women to this unrealistic standard. Usually it's not a big issue, but there are certainly artists out there who feel that women with cup sizes fitting in the first three letters of the alphabet should be able to wear tights and beat up super villains just as well as the girls who have to register their chests as lethal weapons.

Of course, that doesn't mean that their sketch books aren't full of doubly-endowed women…

Anyway, all in all it probably would have looked a lot better if I had at least used some kind of reference. That's a problem I face art-wise on a fairly regular basis, actually. Since I'm doing this in my spare time between class assignments and applying for scholarships and the like, I don't really have the time to reference everything. Mostly my reference is just seeing a drawing I like, saying "I need to draw something like that", then hoping it's still fresh in my memory by the time I have the free time to sit down and do it.
