I've talked about this before, but there's a big difference between doing a "good" thing, and doing a "right" thing. It's a very difficult concept to convey, short of simply outright stating it.

I've enjoyed writing for Bruce thus far because, unlike most of my characters, he is uniquely human. Even Father Diego doesn't really seem quite "human", mainly because he doesn't deal with "human" problems. He's off fighting demons and etc., not dealing with rent and trying desperately to save a failing marriage.

To demons, a child belongs to the parent. With humans, I believe the opposite is true.

An angel knows what is right and what is wrong, whereas humans tend to worry more about good or bad.

Of course, I talk about Bruce as the "normal" character, but the last panel should tell you that his world's about to get flipped upside down, and you're all invited for the ride.
