Author notes
21 April 2007. This comic is both true and false. True, because Dan actually did say that, although that's not how he said it. True because I've tried to draw my hair a little more accurately than I usually do. True, because this is sometimes what my life feels like. False because my motorbike doesn't look like that - the one I've drawn looks like a combination of an Attila and a Vespa, and mine is a Honda Wave. False because when I drew this, I didn't have a motorbike yet, and I wasn't living alone (although I do now, and I am). False because in the apartment that had a sofa, the sofa wasn't in the room with my computer and it didn't look like that anyway. False now because I don't have a kitchen and I don't really buy food anymore either. The grocery store is Maximark, by the way, a place that reminds me of all these weird connections I make between supermarkets and death. Generally I am quite fond of the art in this one. Also I forgot the exclamation point in the title. Oops.
