#5: Because Ly wanted a punchline for once

The first panel is drawn from an actual photograph!

That plant is called an antler fern (is that right, Ly?). It is definitely the most freaky plant I have seen.

It was then, after three days and countless hours traipsing around Angkor Wat, when we realized that we had reached a point where we were more interested in the local fauna than in the ruins we were meant to be poking through, that we thought perhaps it was time to leave Siam Reap. Not that it wasn't awesome, because it was, but three days was about half a day too much.

Ly was the one who told me the antler fern was an epiphyte, by the way. This knowledge is something I sort of make fun of her for, and then when she's away I have moments of, "What plant is this? Damn it, she's not here to tell me."
