Original commentary:
That's "fuga" as in Italian for "fugue", not "fuga" as in some bizarre kind of Japanese sashimi. And I know you're going to ask, "Em, why is it in Italian and not French, since I know Italian is not one of the many languages you speak?" The answer to that, my friend, is because when I drew this I was reading a book called Godel, Escher, Bach. (Yes, when my references are so oblique no one is going to catch them, I make them explicit.)

I showed this one to my Vietnamese housemate, and he seemed amused. I'm not sure, but I think the problem with the xe ôm drivers is one that crosses cultural and linguistic barriers (i.e., they harass the Vietnamese people too). It was a nice bonding moment. Then I had to explain to him why I have 27 pictures of Callum Keith Rennie on my computer. So that was awkward.

Then I found ten dollars.

Well, maybe not.
