#51: I Hate American Television

I don't think this is still on, but there was a program called "Who Wants to be a Super Hero" or something. I hate stupid people being stupid on TV. Ergo, I hate TV.

This is the first official "back in the US" comic. In retrospect, I look at this one and the next couple as an artistic/creative struggle to decide what, exactly, the comic was going to be about now that I was no longer living in Asia. So while I wouldn't call this the greatest comic ever (it's certainly not my favorite), I'd say it has some significance.

For the record, I am still fighting for peace, love, understanding, feminism, kicking stupid people inna teeth, bike lanes, folk rock, moving art and art crit into the public sphere, mysteries as literature, books laying claim to all of human experience instead of being constrained by national boundries, recreational science, Paul Gross, curry, coffee, long bike trips, hipster music, Bad Wolf, and Joyce's ULYSSES. Because that is how I roll.
