Shading Theo's hair is still a pain in the ass, even with the pen tablet. Grrr. But generally I like this page. Next time I should not be lazy and should shade the stuff behind the windows….
I applied for Keenspot on Friday. We'll see how that goes. I don't think I have enough readers and I feel like I've been making a ton of mistakes with the comic lately, but I also feel like Emma would fit in well with the other comics there while still being unique, so I gave it a shot.
This is the description I applied with: Emma Gordon is just starting out her adult life and it's not so easy. She thought she knew what she wanted, but when her parents died in a car accident she put her musical career on hold and ran away from her other relationships to live alone with her cat in San Francisco. For months, all she had was a part time job at a used bookstore and the occasional violin lesson to teach, until she met Will, music aficianado extraordinaire, and his best friend Theo, the disillusioned owner of a small Greek restaurant. Now Emma has to learn to build relationships again while figuring out if she's ready to move on, not to mention revisit the past.
Not terribly attention grabbing storywise, but hopefully eloquent enough to get them to read all 200 or so pages. 8( :nervous:
