Thank you guys for not harassing me over the unexpected hiatus!

In October, right around the last update, I realized that I only had about a month until my jury and recital. And that I was not doing well at all on one very big, very hard piece, as well as being only okay on two others, and not even having picked the fourth. Good news is the one I was doing terribly on ended up going okay, and the others all went fantastically! Now all I have left to get my degree is to pass all my classes this semester. …whilst auditioning for grad school… ehe..

Yeah, so, I can't guarantee any kind of schedule at least until March. Because I need to be ready for these auditions. Pages will have to be up when I have time.

The other thing is…you're probably gonna hate me for this…I kinda really want to start over. But wait! I will still be doing these pages! I'll start over without posting until I'm at least a bit into it. It's going to be essentially the same, but there will be a lot of changes, which I think will be appreciated, honestly. After all the reviews I've gotten and having been (finally) back in the bay area for the last few weeks, I really feel like I have to fix and/or clarify some things. It's just going to take a while. Because I totally spent, like, 5 hours last night going over the demographics for all the neighborhoods in the eastern half of SF so I could figure out who would semi-realistically live where, mostly based on rent costs, but taking a number of other things into account.

Yeah, that's how much I'm dedicated to this comic. Sad, kind of, but also fun! It makes it easier to write if I know everyone's background in great detail (which is why Lamorinda is so helpful for me…too bad I haven't gotten much of it done lately either).

I also wanted to thank everyone for sticking with me, or coming back, or reading the comic for the first time over the hiatus. Comments always make my day, as do new readers. There were two or three comments in particular that made me laugh my ass off, and I was going to list them…but I can't find where I put them at the moment and I'm too lazy to find them in the archive again.

Sorry about the hiatus! Just know that I have had to go on similar breaks before, both with and without warning, and I have always come back, and I don't intend to stop the comic until it is really finished. So, no matter how long I'm gone, I will always be back :)
