Issue 2: Cover

EDIT 7/2/09: Hey! What a great feeling to log onto Drunk Duck in the morning and see that your comic has been featured! Thanks so much!

This is the cover for Issue #2

Since I grew up during the 1970s, I couldn't pass up a chance to do a little homage to my childhood. In case you couldn't tell, I have a big soft spot for the comic art from those years.

Yes. I am literally old school just like my art! (LOL).

The character on the cover is Herrik the Snake (or Herrik the Great as he likes to call himself). He was mentioned briefly in issue 1 and he will play a role in the happenings toward the end of this issue – if all goes according to plan and I don't veer off into uncharted territory.

Comments on the comments from last week.

@Doctor Shadow - Thank you sir!
@DAJB - Sometimes I wonder if the art is coming across or not, since I haven't been at it seriously for very long. So thanks!
@TheMidge28 - I agree we probably have similar thoughts on creating stories. I start with a bare outline– I hate writing - did I mention that? ;) – and I write the bulk of the narrative in storyboard form. I find the page breaks and build it from there.
@cyberdog - Thanks, my friend.
@darkwaterfrey - That means alot coming from an artist of your caliber.
@Crimsonskystudio - I appreciate you stoppin' by.
@khard12 - I'm very happy with my failure as well. : ) Thank you.
@armandoB - thanks again for your support.
@amanda - You're right. I do have the power to make ice cream a part of the Endstone world. So be it. There will be a new stoner who rocks the "ice cream stone"- terrorizing the world with frosty, creamy treats. And his name…. wait for it…. "Coldstone"! - sorry ;)
@The Gravekeeper - I appreciate the compliment. I was a terrible dabbler back in the day. I take the art a little more seriously now.
@Brogan - Thanks for stopping by.
@Jabali - Glad you're enjoying the story. I really appreciate your continuing support.
@thefightingstranger - Thanks. I agree that doing the artwork can make life easier, but then again, it's a whole 'nother level of anguish. But fun anguish, if that even makes sense.
@machinehead - Thanks, but your cow and pig cartoons aren't crappy. You manage to spread out beyond the scatological realm into vomit gags and genitalia humor so I have to respectfully disagree. : )
@Phillby - I appreciate you stoppin' by.
@mattchee - Thanks Matt. I really dig your stuff too. And I will keep going!
@that kid yellow - Thanks for stopping by.

Anyhow, have a great week and keep on keepin' on.
