Hello again, folks. Thanks for stoppin' by for another weekly dose of Endstone.

The big news this week is that Endstone won the "Best Fantasy Comic" award in the 2009 Drunk Duck Awards! Wow! I was deeply honored because the competition consisted of four very fine comics and I was happy just to be considered. So thanks again for your support. I deeply appreciate it.

Comentary:
We finally get to see what Jon Montaigne has been up to. Of the three main characters I have in my banner at the top of the page, Jon has been the most neglected so far. In case you're just tuning in, he's Cole's father, or Kyri's "Baby Daddy" if you will. Long ago he terrorized the land as the original "Banestone." Today he has a much different role to play in life's rich pageant.

And that's a hungry bear, by the way.

@Ironscarf - Thanks. The entire page was created in Manga Studio on a Cintiq. I love inking with a brush but I haven't picked one up in nearly nine months now that I think about it. I miss traditional media but digital just has way too many advantages, IMHO.

@amanda I think dragons have a natural aversion towards sno-cones, in fact anything ice related ; ).

@MeHighLow - Welcome. You are definately old school. The fact that you didn't spell it "old skool" really puts you squarely in that camp - like me. : ) And I hear you on the dialogue — sometimes I'm not sure how much "leading" the audience needs.
