Hello again. Thanks for stopping by to check out another weekly Endstone page.

First off, I wanted to give a shout out of support to an excellent webcomic also here at Drunk Duck called Harkovast.

Comentary:

This page sort of boils down what drives Pablo and Jon respectively.

Before he was murdered, Pablo was the guardian of the Banestone. However, he never used it because he knew about the insanity the Banestone causes. Pablo's Lightstone is very powerful and he can kill should the Banestone fall into nefarious hands. However, he is reluctant to kill Cole (his granddaughter). This is his dilemma and he knows he's headed for a show-down.

In a weird way, Jon feels it's his responsibility to destroy the world, and in his mind, save it. But Jon's problem is that he is a stoner without a stone. Only those born with "the gift" can use the over-stones. There are various stones like the sleep-stone, the web-stone, water-stone, and so on. The worst thing for a stoner is to not have a stone to rock. They're called "posers." I got the term "poser" from a Mattchee comment back in June, I don't know if he remembers.

And then there's Gog and Bolo who are stoners of a different sort. : P

The New Number Two - LOL. Pablo chooses to wear his burial clothes but I'm sure he was a snappy dresser in his time. Pablo was a good polka dancer, too.
Istaerlus - Yes. Jon has seen so much he isn't fazed by Pablo's appearance.
amanda - I almost had Davey smoking a joint with Bolo and Gog but I chickened out at the last minute. I thought it would be too distracting. Hopefully he'll be back but I can't say for sure.
Phillby - Actually I'm surprised Pablo isn't more "chill." A slight breeze just has to chill poor Pablo to the bone. (heh).

khard12 - LOL. That's exactly how I think of the Montaignes. Grampa's a skeleton, Mom's an animal, Dad wants to destroy the world, and the kid is a dragon.

Andaren - Yes, Pablo calls him "Jon Bob" because his real name is Jon Robert… if anyone's keeping score. I'm kind of a stickler for little details like that.
