Howdy again folks.

This page marks the debut of Herrik the Snake. Herrik is an old companion of Kyri Thunderhead and Jon Montaigne. He's been seen in a few flashback pages but this is the first time we've seen him in action. He's somewhat of a badass fighter and calls himself "Herrik the Great." Although nobody else does.

Most importantly, he is one of the four individuals suspected of harboring the Endstone.

This is the begining of the final, climactic scene of Issue of 2. All the dominoes are in place so pull up a chair and watch them fall.

Doctor Shadow Thanks for the eagle-eye! And I'm finding the dialogue is getting more fun to do since the characters are more fleshed out and they seem to talk all by themselves.

Andaren - Interesting. I chose Primrose as leader because I thought she might present a more interesting foil to Kyri. But I guess different traditions would be the official story as to why she's ruler. Plus, I have other plans for her brother, Bennet. Also, I've never heard of Valda but she sounds like an interesting character. The collar Kyri wears around her neck is actually used to house the Endstone when she is in possession of it. She has no pockets and if anyone can succeed in grabbing her by the throat then it's all over anyhow. Form follows function in this case.

khard12 - Excellent observation. My guess is that Primrose is very insecure and fears the people will reject her as ruler. Hence she's trying to win the rabble over by giving them gory games and circus. And maybe her father was already slipping in popularity before he was abducted.
amanda - LOL. But that just may happen before this thing is through…. or at least something similar.

Streetknight -You can be sure Kyri wrote this down in her planner to make a lunch date with Primrose very soon in the future.
Ironscarf - I agree. And I was going to add sex to that list of exceptions to keeping Wally Wood's 22 panels in front of oneself at all times, but on second thought, I think it can be done.

The Gravekeeper - You're right. It never works giving the people what they want. But History has shown that it can be fun sliding through decadence to utter ruin.
mattchee - Thanks. I have an action beat I want to reach on the final page of this issue, so I had to pack these last two dialogue pages fairly tightly.
