Endstone

Author notes
Issue 2 Page 16
repoman onOh noes! Is this the end of Herrik the Snake?
Hopefully Herrik will take out this Toadstone guy… just to shut him up! Tune in next week to find out — or click on the "Endstone.net" link to get a sneak peak at next week's page!
Also, some of you may remember the toad-men that Jon Montaigne sent to battle Kyri Thunderhead at the beginning of issue one. Apparently, Jon acquired the ability to create the toad-men through this guy. And Toadstone seems fairly angry about the whole affair.

Responses from last week's comments:
Juvenile Jay - Thanks for stoppin' by.
Lemniskate - Gotcha'
Doctor Shadow - I always wanted to use that ol' broken bottle distraction in a story so this was my chance.
SoItBegins and Crimsonskystudio - thanks again, folks.
Andaren - I've never read Mists of Avalon. I've probably said this before but I'm not much of a reader. Although you guys are giving me good tips on books so I'll have to start reading more books. : ) (Mists is a book, right?)
amanda - I hope you had a great time in Chicago.
Phillby - Thanks. I'm always drinking when I'm at the keyboard – wait did I just say that? ; )
mattchee - Thanks, Matt. There's tons and tons of tonage to come, by the way.
Zephyrion and DragonDeadite I appreciate you folks stoppin' by.
khard12 - I think you have the moral down exactly. And also in my personal life, I make it a point never to look at another man's bottle. Especially when he's been drinking.
Jabali and theBSDude - Thanks folks!
istaerlus - Thanks. It's human nature I guess to be tempted to do the opposite of what people demand.
machinehead - They just don't make thugs like they used to.
AzuJOD - Fire is also a good sterilizer as you see on this new page. ; )
Randomdudeperson - Thanks!
thefightingstranger - Thanks again.
Ironscarf - Thanks. I was resistant at first, but lately I've changed my mind about adding gray-tone. Without a colorist, I think it helps to separate fore, mid, and back-ground elements, but I find myself laying down less black because I know the tone will take care of the separation. I guess I'm still playing around with how the gray-tone will fit into my style.
oldguy85 - Thank you much.
armandoB - It could have been a much lower blow… literally.
grobles63 - Thanks. Herrik is actually loosely based on a friend of mine.
MeHighLow - I hate to admit it, but I never heard of Magnus & Bunker before. I looked them up. Magnus is a great artist I love it! Right up my alley.
DAJB - Possibly so. Zigfred and Ray will be back next issue.
The Gravekeeper - Wow. You certainly know how to be decadent! Although personally I couldn't do the chocolate bath – I'd get hair and foot funk all in the chocolate.
See you next week. And keep on keepin' on.
