I've always wondered how a character like Batman pulls off a disappearing act every time and no one ever sees him leave. Even if I had special powers, I'm sure my dramatic exits would turn out something like Jon's experience here.

seanb47 - Thank you, sir. This was just a teaser battle so stay tuned. :)
mattchee - Yes writing can be more rewarding than the art, sometimes. But more often it's not. LOL.
Doctor Shadow - Thanks!
Andaren - I'm sure your stories will return well rested after their Holiday and ready to go. And yes, I think Jon was just trying to scare off Cole. He knows the dragonstone very well. This will be delved into next issue.
MeHighLow - Thanks. It's interesting you should bring up having Jon appear as a foreshadow on the previous page. I went back and forth with that idea and I almost had him in the previous page. But I wanted it jarring to have him appear (from Kyri's POV) but I can see why it might not be satisfactory. It was a hard choice that's difficult to make without an editor to get feedback during the creative process.
Azujod - LOL. Love the pun!
The Gravekeeper - Thanks. So Jon appearing wasn't that jarring? It was a tough choice not to foreshadow on the previous page.
armandoB - Thanks, Armando.
Ironscarf - Thanks again. But I still wish I could paint as good as you. :)
thefightingstranger - LOL.
