mattchee - I wish you the best of luck in the finals too, Matt. And thanks for the nod in the black and white art category. I'm not that confident in my art chops so I appreciate that.

MeHighLow - Thanks! The second panel with young Kyri sticking her nose up at the leaves sort of came out as I was drawing the page. So I had to add a panel in the middle of things. I actually like it when the characters force me to change my plans.

Bluey - Absolutely no toilet paper. And watch out for deer scat when hiking the trails in the Endstone universe. ;)

thefightingstranger - Yes her brother is not too happy that his younger sister, Thunderhead, can rock the Rainstone and he cannot. That's another story that I just didn't have time to tell. Maybe someday.

Jabali - Thanks. I've been getting some criticism on the main site about the flashback, which is fair, but like you I think the flashback is essential to develop the character so readers can relate.

plymayer - Thanks. Drawing younger Kyri was a blast. Maybe I'll revisit this time period someday for other stories.
